A message to clients of O'Meara Advisory
Thank you for letting us look after your business.
You and your business have been through a significant period of change. Our hope is that this next step feels as steady and familiar as possible.
The team you have worked with, the people who know your business, your history and your priorities, are joining Winstone France alongside you. Same faces, same way of working. What's new is the depth of a wider Chartered Accountancy firm behind them, and a broader set of resources to draw on when you need them.
We're a small, friendly NZ-owned firm based in Arrowtown and Christchurch. We're committed to looking after you to the standard you've come to expect, and to making this next chapter as easy as possible for you and your business.
Your team
The people you know are coming with you.
Many of the people you've worked with at O'Meara Advisory are joining Winstone France, including Isaac Benefield, Pip Scobie and Sam Jamieson-Gough. They will be working alongside Jeremy Winstone, our Arrowtown-based Director and partner, and Yvonne Stevenson, the local senior manager. The relationships, knowledge of your business, and day-to-day style of working all continue uninterrupted.
Alongside them, you have access to Winstone France's wider team of thirteen New Zealand-based accountants and advisors. Useful when something specialist comes up, but otherwise out of the way.
Meet the team

Frequently asked questions
A few questions you might have.
If your question isn't here, give Jeremy or Isaac a call. Happy to talk it through.
Do I need to do anything?
Nothing immediately. We'll be in touch in the coming days with the small admin items: a new engagement letter and a new IRD authority. Until then, carry on as usual.
Will my fees change?
Your existing fee arrangements continue unchanged for the rest of the current financial year. In subsequent years, fees will only be adjusted if there are material changes.
Who will be looking after my business?
The same person, or people, you've been dealing with at O'Meara Advisory. At the firm level, Jeremy Winstone and Isaac Benefield will be your senior contacts in Arrowtown.
Can I still pop into the Arrowtown office?
Yes. We're committed to maintaining a local presence. Feel free to get in touch to arrange a time to meet.
What happens to my Xero file and historical records?
Everything comes across: your Xero file, payroll and prior year working papers. No data is moved or migrated; from your end it should be entirely seamless.
When does the transition take effect?
1 July onwards. Day-to-day it will feel seamless. Your tax dates, year-end, software and key contacts don't change at the point of transition.
I have a question that isn't here.
Drop Jeremy or Isaac an email or give us a call. We're happy to talk through anything, big or small.
